Systems weighs acquisition of IT services business

June 15, 2026 (MLN): Systems Limited (PSX: SYS) is considering the acquisition of an information technology services business, marking a potential expansion move for Pakistan's largest listed technology company.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday, the company said its board of directors, in a meeting held on June 12, authorized management to explore the potential acquisition, subject to the finalization of commercial terms, completion of due diligence, execution of definitive agreements, and receipt of regulatory approvals.

The company did not disclose the identity of the target, the size of the transaction, or the financial terms under consideration.

Systems said it would keep the PSX informed of any material developments related to the proposed transaction.

The potential deal comes as Pakistani IT firms increasingly seek international expansion and inorganic growth opportunities to strengthen their regional footprint and diversify revenue streams.
