July 30, 2025 (MLN): In a landmark move to bolster its global business process outsourcing (BPO) footprint, Systems Limited has declared the acquisition of British American Tobacco SAA Services (Private) Limited from British American Tobacco International Holdings (UK) Limited.

The development was formally disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

The acquisition was approved in a board meeting held on July 29, 2025. On the same day, the company entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) that outlines the terms and aggregate purchase price for the acquisition.

The deal is subject to the satisfaction of conditions precedent and receipt of applicable regulatory approvals.

The acquired company is a key player in delivering IT-led shared and digital services.

Its business scope includes consumer and customer services through omnichannel contact centers, marketing operations, HR processes, finance and procurement services, and supply chain management across multiple international markets.

These services align with Systems Limited’s core expertise in digital transformation and BPO, making the acquisition a strategic fit for its long-term growth objectives.

In a parallel development, Techvista Systems FZ LLC, Systems Limited’s associated company based in the UAE, has entered into a multi-year Master Services Agreement with Accenture (UK) Limited.
