Sitara Peroxide halts operations for safety, modernization drive

November 13, 2025 (MLN): Sitara Peroxide Limited (PSX: SPL) has temporarily closed its operations to undertake balancing, modernization, and replacement (BMR) activities, the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
According to the filing, management is implementing emergent measures to control erosion and prevent leakages of highly inflammable and valuable chemicals caused by sudden weather changes.
The company has diverted all available resources toward preventive actions and has activated safety, emergency, and environmental response protocols to ensure the protection of its plant, employees, and environment.
Sitara Peroxide stated that further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
