Security Papers completes Paper Machine 2 upgrade project

September 30, 2026 (MLN): Security Papers Limited (PSX:SEPL) has completed the upgrade project of its Paper Machine 2 (PM-2) and resumed normal operation and production at the plant with effect from September 30, 2026.

The company shared the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), issued under Section 96 and Section 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1 of the PSX Rule Book.

Production had been temporarily halted on July 25, 2026, to install and integrate modern components on the PM-2 machine.

The company said the upgrade strengthens its technical capabilities to build advanced, modern security features into its banknote paper production
