SGPL shifts from power to tech

February 16, 2026 (MLN): SG Power Limited (PSX: SGPL) is changing its principal line of business from the Power sector to the Technology sector.

The company is preparing a detailed business plan to guide this strategic transition, including proposals for a new company name that shows its pivot towards Technology.

The Board of Directors has directed the management to identify and appoint key personnel to ensure that the company’s operations and strategic initiatives are fully aligned with its new business direction, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

Additionally, Mr. Naim Anwar has been appointed as a Director, replacing Mr. Salim Razak Tabbani, and has been elected as the Chairman of the Board.
