SECP sets October 28 AGM deadline for June 2026 year-end companies

October 06, 2026 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has directed companies whose financial year ended on June 30, 2026, to hold their Annual General Meetings (AGMs) by October 28, 2026.

All relevant companies are required to hold their AGMs and complete the required filings within 120 days of the close of the financial year, the SECP said.

In case of any change in information after the AGM, Form A must be submitted, while Form 24 is required where there is no change in the information, according to the SECP.

Private and single-member companies having paid-up capital of up to Rs3 million are exempt from filing the return where there is no change in information, the SECP said.

Companies are required to submit Form 19 along with their annual return, including information regarding the issuance of notices and maintenance of the Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) register.

Where submission of the annual return is not required, Form 19 must be submitted within 30 days of the end of the calendar year, the SECP said.
