SECP approves name changes for Pakgen, Lalpir Power firms

June 19, 2026 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) approved the change of name from Pakgen Power Limited to Pakgen Limited, along with a change in principal line of business, as approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on April 27, 2026.
The company is now officially named Pakgen Limited.
Similarly, SECP approved the change of name from Lalpir
Power Limited to Lalpir Limited, along with a change in principal line of
business, as approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on
April 27, 2026.
The company is now officially named Lalpir Limited.
The aforementioned information was
disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
