SCRA ends week around Rs30bn

October 24, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs1.12bn during the week ending Oct 17, 2025 to close at Rs29.39bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs2.17bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs36.70bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs15.01bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs20.90bn while dividend received was Rs793.93m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs37.83bn. Outward remittances were Rs14.75bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs23.07bn and total tax paid was Rs1.52m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-6.24bn, Rs8.34bn and Rs0.43m to close at Rs736.78bn, Rs72.80bn and Rs21.60bn.
