SCRA inflows offset Rs3.6bn net selling

September 08, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs1.18bn during the week ending Aug 29, 2025 to close at Rs30.98bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs3.58bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs27.42bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs12.67bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs14.71bn while dividend received was Rs47.27m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs26.24bn. Outward remittances were Rs7.95bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs18.29bn and total tax paid was Rs0.58m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-9.33bn, Rs7.05bn and Rs2.22m to close at Rs693.99bn, Rs45.47bn and Rs18.03bn.
