SCRA fund jumps Rs5bn amid market swings

February 27, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs5.10bn during the week ending Feb 20, 2026 to close at Rs39.04bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs9.80bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs89.30bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs6.98bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs81.77bn while dividend received was Rs553.00m.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs84.20bn.
Outward remittances were Rs12.22bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs71.98bn and total tax paid was Rs2.95m.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-30.30bn, Rs10.61bn and Rs-71.16m to close at Rs717.26bn, Rs126.05bn and Rs29.31bn.
