SCRA ends week around Rs39bn

March 19, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance
decreased by Rs792.92m during the week ending Mar 13, 2026 to close at Rs38.96
bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net selling of securities to the tune of Rs38.5 bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs73.11 bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances
amount was Rs5.06 bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs67.32 bn while
dividend received was Rs728.46m.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs73.91 bn. Outward
remittances were Rs44.84 bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs28.82 bn
and total tax paid was Rs242.8m.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS
changed by Rs-9.73 bn, Rs-26.80 bn and Rs-3.77 bn to close at Rs611.77 bn, Rs65.44
bn and Rs30.15 bn.
