SCRA ends week around Rs34bn

February 06, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.922.7m during the week ending Jan 30, 2026 to close at Rs.34.13billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.10.57bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.53.52bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs.25.86bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.27.65bn while no significant dividend was received.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.54.44bn. Outward remittances were Rs.15.37bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.38.22bn and total tax paid was Rs.847.02m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.-35.909bn, Rs.4.054bn and Rs.-781.69m to close at Rs.744.04bn, Rs.111.94bn and Rs.29.45bn.
