SCRA ends week around Rs28bn

August 06, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs.681.48 million during the week ending Jul 31, 2026 to close at Rs.27.97 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs.8.29 billion.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.25.87 billion through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.4.92 billion, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.20.91 billion while dividend received was Rs.40.63 million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.25.19 billion. Outward remittances were Rs.12.57 billion, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.12.62 billion and total tax paid was Rs.1.12 million.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.11.61 billion, Rs.1.75 billion and Rs.-7.92 billion to close at Rs.601.02 billion, Rs.102.99 billion and Rs.34.19 billion.
