January 23, 2026 (MLN):The SCRA balance increased by Rs.1.68 bn during the week ending Jan 16, 2026 to close at Rs.37.12 bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs4.61 bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.38.92bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.12.89bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs26.02bn while dividend received was Rs2.17 million.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs37.23bn. Outward remittances were Rs15.82bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.21.41 bn and total tax paid was Rs.2.15 million.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.-5.99bn, Rs2.84bn and Rs.-43.46million to close at Rs.786.72bn, Rs90.20 bn and Rs30.14bn.
