SCRA ends week above Rs30bn

April 10, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.730.37 million during the week ending Apr 03, 2026 to close at Rs.30.14bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs.12.76bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.47.45bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.15.64bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.31.06bn while dividend received was Rs.744.96m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.48.18bn. Outward remittances were Rs.27.07bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.18.3bn and total tax paid was Rs.2.81bn.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.-10.6bn, Rs.-2.32bn and Rs.-208.73m to close at Rs.570.67bn, Rs.56.20bn and Rs.27.054bn.
