SCRA ends week above Rs27bn

September 04, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs603.32 million during the week ending Aug 28, 2026 to close at Rs27.11bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs6.82bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs24.63bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs13.52bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs10.39bn while dividend received was Rs719.10 million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs24.03bn. Outward remittances were Rs6.82bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs17.20bn and total tax paid was Rs4.89 million.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs3.59bn, Rs1.39bn and Rs8.08bn to close at Rs.598.69bn, Rs113.68bn and Rs42.05bn.
