SCRA balances dip as net foreign selling reaches Rs4.5bn

June 12, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs695.89 million during the week ending Jun 05, 2026 to close at Rs26.91bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net selling of securities to the tune of Rs4.53bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs23.47bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.
Inward remittances amount was Rs6.44bn, sale of securities was
recorded at Rs16.45bn while dividend received was Rs582.22m.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs24.17bn.
Outward remittances were Rs10.74bn, total securities
purchased amounted to Rs11.92bn and total tax paid was Rs1.51bn.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS
changed by Rs-17.83bn, Rs1.98bn and Rs55.22m to close at Rs597.72bn, Rs105.40bn
and Rs26.94bn.
