SCRA balance slides Rs2.06bn

January 30, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs2.06 billion during the week ending Jan 23, 2026 to close at Rs.35.05bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.10.01bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs45.65bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs21.05bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs24.57bn while dividend received was Rs42.04m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs47.72bn.

Outward remittances were Rs13.02bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs34.59bn and total tax paid was Rs117.50m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.-6.77bn, Rs17.68bn and Rs84.37m to close at Rs779.95bn, Rs107.88bn and Rs30.23bn.
