SCRA balance rises by Rs637m to Rs27.93bn

July 16, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs636.83m during the week ending Jul 10, 2026 to close at Rs27.93 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs8.92bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs20.99bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs2.99bn, sale of securities was recorded at Rs17.76bn while dividend received was Rs230.16m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs20.35bn.

Outward remittances were Rs11.43bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs8.84bn and total tax paid was Rs73.51m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-11.58bn, Rs-6.48bn and Rs-2.39bn to close at Rs618.57bn, Rs90.68bn and Rs35.86bn.
