SCRA balance nears Rs34bn on strong weekly inflows

February 20, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs4.85 billion during the week ending Feb 13, 2026 to close at Rs33.93bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs2.19bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs29.51bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs14.67bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs14.83bn while dividend received was Rs5.57m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs24.66bn.

Outward remittances were Rs7.62bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs17.02bn and total tax paid was Rs8.57m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-18.47bn, Rs13.54bn and Rs-80.56m to close at Rs747.56bn, Rs115.44bn and Rs29.38bn.
