SCRA balance falls by Rs8.3bn during week

April 03, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.8.33 bn during the week ending Mar 27, 2026 to close at Rs.29.28 bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs.9.46 bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.19.01 bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.1.17 bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.17.31 bn while dividend received was Rs.526.10 million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.27.34 bn. Outward remittances were Rs.19.04 bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.7.85 bn and total tax paid was Rs.456.5m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.-9.95 bn, Rs.-6.83 bn and Rs.11.31m to close at Rs.581.28 bn, Rs.58.52 bn and Rs.27.26bn.
