SCRA balance falls Rs894m to Rs26bn

August 20, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs894.31 million during the week ending Aug 14, 2026 to close at Rs26.42 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs2.15bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs21.96bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs10.30bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs11.65bn while dividend received was Rs3.31m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs22.85bn.

Outward remittances were Rs9.05bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs13.80bn and total tax paid was Rs2.20m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-6.80bn, Rs3.19bn and Rs-57.35m to close at Rs610.85bn, Rs111.60bn and Rs34.09bn.
