SCRA balance falls Rs82m to Rs27.3bn

July 30, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs82.00m during the week ending Jul 24, 2026 to close at Rs27.29bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs10.96bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs47.86bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs24.36bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs23.49bn while dividend received was Rs0.37m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs47.94bn.

Outward remittances were Rs13.49bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs34.45bn and total tax paid was Rs0.70m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-17.31bn, Rs11.39bn and Rs-1.41bn to close at Rs589.41bn, Rs101.24bn and Rs42.11bn.
