SCRA balance falls Rs657m to Rs27.3bn in week

August 14, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs657.51 million during the week ending Aug 07, 2026 to close at Rs27.31 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net buying of securities to the tune of Rs4.39bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs16.61bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs.7.75bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs8.86bn while dividend received was Rs7.09m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs17.27bn.

Outward remittances were Rs2.44bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs13.25bn and total tax paid was Rs1.58bn.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs16.63bn, Rs5.41bn and Rs-39.64m to close at Rs617.65bn, Rs108.40bn and Rs34.15bn.
