SCRA balance falls Rs1.33bn

September 25, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs1.33bn during the week ending Sep 19, 2025 to close at Rs28.74bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs3.25 bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs14.56bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs1.52bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs12.22bn while dividend received was Rs.0.81bn.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs15.89bn. Outward remittances were Rs6.90bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs8.97bn and total tax paid was Rs11.89m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs.15.55bn, Rs68.35m and Rs0.57bn to close at Rs734.09bn, Rs46.80bn and Rs18.60bn.
