SCRA balance drops Rs5bn amid weekly net selling

February 13, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs5.04 billion during the week ending Feb 06, 2026 to close at Rs.29,09bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs6.38bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs26,00bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs2.73bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs23.24bn while dividend received was Rs33.22 million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs31.04bn.

Outward remittances were Rs13.48bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs16.86bn and total tax paid was Rs712.09m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs22.00bn, Rs.-10.03bn and Rs15.99m to close at Rs766.04bn, Rs101.90bn and Rs29.46bn.
