SCRA balance climbs Rs1bn to Rs28bn in week

September 11, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs1.03 billion during the week ending Sep 04, 2026 to close at Rs28.13bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net selling of securities to the tune of Rs5.19bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs47.00bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.
Inward remittances amount was Rs16.17bn, sale of securities
were recorded at Rs30.33bn while dividend received was Rs497.14m.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs45.97bn.
Outward remittances were Rs20.81bn, total securities
purchased amounted to Rs25.13bn and total tax paid was Rs19.43m.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS
changed by Rs-10.98bn, Rs-4.66bn and Rs2.94bn to close at Rs587.71bn, Rs109.02bn
and Rs44.98bn.
