SCRA balance climbs Rs1.9bn to around Rs41bn

March 05, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs1.93 billion during the week ending Feb 27, 2026 to close at Rs40.97bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs5.80bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs79.62bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs33.11bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs46.45bn while dividend received was Rs58.40 million.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs77.70bn.

Outward remittances were Rs34.53bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs40.70bn and total tax paid was Rs2.50bn.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-18.60bn, Rs-17.15bn and Rs4.46bn to close at Rs698.66bn, Rs108.90bn and Rs33.77bn.
