SCRA balance rises to Rs27.3bn

July 09, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs358.94 million during the week ending Jul 03, 2026 to close at Rs27.29 billion.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net buying of securities to the tune of Rs487.13m.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs25.44bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.
Inward remittances amount was Rs18.63bn, sale of securities
were recorded at Rs6.74bn while dividend received was Rs69.57m.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs25.08bn.
Outward remittances were Rs17.15bn, total securities
purchased amounted to Rs7.23bn and total tax paid was Rs702.69m.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS
changed by Rs15.14bn, Rs-7.16bn and Rs-3.94bn to close at Rs630.15bn, Rs97.16bn
and Rs38.25bn.
