SBP to buy Rs300bn GoP Ijara Sukuk on deferred payment basis

(MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued an auction tender notice
for the outright purchase of Government of Pakistan (GoP) Ijara Sukuk on a
deferred payment (Bai Muajjal) basis from all Islamic Banks and Islamic Banking
Branches.
The auction is
scheduled for June 23, 2026, with sukuk delivery on June 24, 2026.
SBP is targeting to purchase Rs300bn worth of sukuk through three tranches of the GIS issue PK03F2606264, with a target of Rs100bn each across 6-month, 12-month, and 3-year tenors.

received up to 1200 hours on the auction date, with results to be communicated
on the same day.
The opening of
tenders will be communicated through email.
