SBP to Conduct OMO Reverse Repo Purchase, Sharia compliant Mudarabah based (Injection)

February 24, 2023 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has invited the quotes for Open Market Operations (OMO) for Reverse Repo Purchase (Injection) and Shariah Compliant Mudarabah based OMO injection for 7-day.

Scheduled Banks, DFIs, and Primary Dealers are eligible for the Reverse Repo Purchase (Injection) while All Islamic Banks and Islamic Bank Branches are eligible for the Shariah Complaint OMO.

Quotes Timings for Reverse Repo Purchase: Upto 1045 hours

Quotes Timings for Shariah Compliant OMO: From 1100-1130 hours

OMO result will be announced at 1200 hours

It is important to note that the quotes can be rejected without assigning any reason.
