SBP reserves rise to $14.57bn in a week

December 04, 2025 (MLN): The foreign exchange
reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $14.1 million or
0.10% WoW to $14.57 billion during the week ended on November 28, 2025, data
released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.
On the other hand, the country's total reserves decreased by
$16.5m or 0.08% WoW to $19.59bn.
The reserves held by commercial banks fell by $30.6m or
0.61% WoW to $5.01bn.
In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased
by $5.51bn or 60.79%.
Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen an increase of $2.86bn or 24.46%.
