SBP reserves rise $19.1m WoW

February 19, 2026 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $19.1 million or 0.12% WoW to $16.197 billion during the week ended on February 13, 2026, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

On the other hand, the country's total reserves decreased by $73.2m or 0.34% WoW to $21.3bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks fell by $92.3m or 1.78% WoW to $5.1bn.

In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased by $7.13bn or 78.68%.

Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen an increase of $281.8m or 1.77%.
