SBP reserves rise $13m to $17bn

August 06, 2026 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $13.1 million WoW to $17.04 billion during the week ended on July 31, 2026, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves increased by $32.5m or 0.14% WoW to $22.47bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $19.4m or 0.36% WoW to $5.43bn.

Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen an increase of $987.26m or 6.04%.
