SBP invites bids for PIB floating rate buyback auction, targets Rs600bn

September 10, 2026 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has invited bids for buyback auctions of Pakistan Investment Bonds Floating Rate (PFL), targeting a total buyback range of Rs500bn-600bn.

According to a notification issued by SBP's Domestic Markets & Monetary Management Department, both non-competitive and competitive auctions for the PFL buyback will be held on September 10, 2026, with settlement due on September 11, 2026.

Bidding through PRISM+ for both non-competitive and competitive bids will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The buyback covers six PFL Semi-Annual securities across different issue and maturity dates, each carrying its own target range, as per the details shared by SBP.
