SBP cancels license of 2 exchange companies

March 24, 2026 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared the immediate cancellation of the authorizations and licenses of two exchange companies, Dream Exchange (Pvt.) Limited and Al Raj International Exchange Company (Pvt.) Limited.

The central bank cited serious violations of regulatory instructions as the primary reason for these enforcement actions.

Effective immediately, both Dream Exchange (Pvt.) Limited and M/s Al Raj International Exchange Company (Pvt.) Limited, including their respective head offices and all constituent branches, are strictly prohibited from undertaking any foreign exchange-related business activities in any capacity.
