SAZGAR extends GWM Tank 500 delivery timelines, offers free charger

January 27, 2026 (MLN): SAZGAR Engineering Works Limited has revised the delivery timelines for the GWM Tank 500 HEV and PHEV in Pakistan, citing an unprecedented response and exceptionally strong demand for the premium SUV.

In a customer update, the company thanked Pakistani consumers for the trust and enthusiasm shown toward the GWM Tank 500 lineup, describing the response as overwhelming.

As a goodwill gesture, SAZGAR announced that it will provide a complimentary 7kW charger with every GWM Tank 500 PHEV, applicable to all existing and future bookings.

The company said the move shows its appreciation for customers and its commitment to enhancing the ownership experience of plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Due to the surge in bookings, SAZGAR said it has been compelled to revise its tentative delivery schedules to ensure vehicles are delivered in line with GWM’s quality standards and brand promise.

Under the updated timelines, the GWM Tank 500 PHEV is expected to be delivered within 6 to 8 months, while the GWM Tank 500 HEV will have a delivery period of 7 to 9 months.

These revised timelines will apply to all confirmed bookings from January 27, 2026 onwards.

The company acknowledged that extended waiting periods may be concerning for customers but stressed that the decision was taken to prioritize transparency, quality, and long-term customer satisfaction.

SAZGAR reaffirmed that its teams are making every possible effort to deliver vehicles at the earliest feasible timelines, while maintaining the standards associated with the GWM brand.

The company concluded by thanking customers for their continued trust and support, reiterating its commitment to the growing GWM family in Pakistan.
