July 24, 2026 (MLN): Quantum Data Technologies Limited (PSX:QTECH) has settled its outstanding liability with The Bank of Punjab in full, with the bank issuing a No Liability Certificate confirming no amount remains payable.

The company has also reached a full and final settlement with Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited for Rs360mn, a significant concession against the bank's substantially higher recoverable amount, to be paid in three installments by September 30, 2026.

Both settlements, negotiated on favorable commercial terms, are expected to generate aggregate savings in excess of Rs300mn for the company and materially strengthen its balance sheet by reducing legacy liabilities.

Once the remaining settlement obligations are completed, the company's principal industrial asset  located at Dhilwan Road, Off 49-KM, Multan Road, Tehsil Pattoki, District Kasur, comprising 132 Kanal and 10 Marla of industrial land with a covered area of roughly 298,440 square feet  is expected to become free of all banking charges and encumbrances.

Management estimates the current market value of these assets at over Rs2bn, with their release expected to enhance the company's net asset value and provide greater financial flexibility for future expansion.
