QTECH inks strategic cooperation deal with Chinese firm Great Power

October 14, 2026 (MLN): Quantum Data Technologies Limited (PSX: QTECH) has signed a Strategic Cooperation and Market Development Framework Agreement with China’s Guangzhou Great Power Energy & Technology Co., Ltd. to introduce and progressively undertake local assembly of advanced lithium-based battery energy storage systems.

Great Power is a leading Chinese energy technology company specialising in advanced lithium batteries and energy storage solutions.

It is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 300438) and had a market capitalisation of about $4bn as of October 13, 2026.

Under the collaboration, QTECH plans to assemble residential and commercial battery packs, industrial and utility-scale energy storage systems, and solutions for data centres, AI infrastructure, EV battery infrastructure and other energy-intensive applications.

The company described itself as a data and AI-driven technology company and said reliable energy supply and energy security are essential for Pakistan’s technological advancement.

It termed the initiative an important step in its broader strategy to develop innovative technology ventures and create long-term shareholder value.

QTECH said further material developments will be disclosed in line with applicable regulations.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
