Petrol price rises Rs1.19, diesel falls Rs1.91 from Oct 7

October 07, 2026 (MLN): The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) has revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products, reducing the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs1.91 per litre and raising the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) by Rs1.19 per litre, effective October 7, 2026.
Based on the petroleum pricing mechanism issued by the
Federal Government, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the
ex-depot prices of petroleum products for October 7, 2026, as per the following
details.
The change in price has been necessitated by global events
including changes in Platts rates, premiums, incidentals, etc.
