Petrol price raised by Rs4.45/litre, diesel cut by Rs2

August 06, 2026 (MLN): The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) has revised petroleum prices effective August 6, 2026, with petrol increased by Rs4.45 per litre to Rs333.01, while High Speed Diesel (HSD) was reduced by Rs2.00 per litre to Rs383.86.
Based on the revised petroleum pricing mechanism issued by
the Federal Government, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised
the ex-depot prices of petroleum products accordingly.
Under the prevailing mechanism, OGRA computes and notifies
petroleum prices on a daily basis.
