Petrol price cut by Rs1.70, HSD rises Rs1.39

August 12, 2026 (MLN): The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products for August 12, 2026, reducing the price of Motor Spirit (Petrol) by Rs1.70 per litre to Rs325.92, while raising the price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs1.39 per litre to Rs382.25.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the revision has been made based on the revised petroleum pricing mechanism issued by the Federal Government.

Under the prevailing mechanism, OGRA computes and notifies petroleum prices on a daily basis.
