August 11, 2026 (MLN): The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) has clarified that the ex-depot prices of petroleum products for August 8 to 10, 2026 will remain unchanged for August 11, 2026, due to the non-publication of Platts prices on August 10, 2026.

In continuation of its press release issued on August 7, 2026, the Ministry stated that petrol (Motor Spirit) will continue to be sold at Rs327.62 per litre, while High Speed Diesel (HSD) will remain at Rs380.86 per litre.

Under the prevailing pricing mechanism, OGRA computes and notifies petroleum prices on a daily basis, based on a rolling average of Platts Arab Gulf prices and the exchange rate; however, prices are held steady on days when Platts price data is not published.
