Pakistan strengthens healthcare exports at WHX 2026

February 10, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan is making a strong mark in the global healthcare industry, with 40 of its leading companies showcasing innovations in medical devices, surgical instruments, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare manufacturing at the World Health Exhibition (WHX) 2026.

The participation, under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), highlights the country’s growing export potential and aims to strengthen economic and trade ties with the United Arab Emirates.

The exhibition, held from 9 to 12 February at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, is one of the world’s largest healthcare events, featuring over 4,300 exhibitors and attracting more than 235,000 healthcare professionals and policymakers from 180 countries, APP reported.

The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated at South Hall 3 of the Dubai Exhibition Centre in a ceremony attended by Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor, and Muhammad Saleh, Press Counsellor at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai, along with representatives of participating companies.

 Speaking at the event, Ali Zeb Khan noted that Pakistan’s participation reflects the international recognition of its surgical instruments, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical sectors.

He highlighted that Pakistani companies are presenting innovative products aligned with global healthcare standards, and emphasized the UAE Pakistan’s second-largest trading partner as a strategic gateway for accessing regional and international markets.
