July 30, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan is showcasing its expanding value-added textile and manufacturing capabilities at Texworld New York City 2026, with five Pakistani companies participating in the three-day international exhibition to strengthen export opportunities and connect with buyers in the U.S. market.

The Pakistani pavilion was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, where exhibitors are presenting a range of products including home textiles, towels, apparel, leather garments, sportswear, gloves, and other textile products.

The pavilion has been organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the Trade & Investment Wing of the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York, according to APP.

Five Pakistani companies A1 Infinity, MRI Group, Hometex Corporation, Ruqi Sports, and Niza Sports — are participating in the exhibition, highlighting Pakistan’s manufacturing capabilities across textiles, apparel, leather, sports goods, and home textiles.

The exhibition provides Pakistani exporters with an opportunity to engage directly with buyers, sourcing companies, and industry stakeholders from across the United States and international markets.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Shaikh, who inaugurated the pavilion, highlighted the importance of the textile sector to Pakistan’s economy and the government’s efforts to boost exports and deepen commercial relations with the United States.

Trade and Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan highlighted Texworld New York City as an important platform for Pakistani exporters seeking to establish new buyer connections and expand their footprint in the U.S. market.

Pakistan’s participation is aimed at promoting the country’s manufacturing strength, product innovation, and export potential while creating opportunities for longer-term commercial partnerships with international buyers.
