Pakistan sees another gold price record, soars to Rs572K per tola

January 29, 2026 (MLN): Gold in Pakistan set a dazzling new record on Thursday, with 24-karat gold soaring to Rs572,862 per tola up Rs21,200, following yesterday’s historic rise of Rs21,100.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs491,136 after a gain of Rs18,175, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs450,224 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs12,175 per tola (+Rs264) and Rs10,438 per 10-gram (+Rs227).

Globally, spot gold traded near $5,522 an ounce, up $10.6 or 0.19% from the previous session, as U.S Fed kept interest rate steady in the range of 3.5%-3.75%.
