June 16, 2025 (MLN): This is a significant victory for Pakistan, as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) did not include the country in the Grey List despite relentless efforts by India and Israel," said Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

He added that Pakistan has fulfilled all the requirements of the FATF, and there is no reason to keep it on any list, as per the press release issued.

In a post on the social media platform X, he stated that India and Israel have failed in their nefarious designs to bring Pakistan back onto the FATF Grey List.

The Defence Minister said that the International Cooperation Review Group of FATF, in its meeting, reviewed Pakistan's progress and decided not to include the country in the Grey List.

He noted that China fully supported Pakistan’s case for relief, and Turkiye also endorsed China’s stance.

Khawaja Asif added that Japan, as Co-Chair of the Asia-Pacific Group, also fully supported Pakistan.
