Pakistan, UAE reaffirm commitment to strengthening trade

October 15, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation, emphasizing the importance of further enhancing their long-standing fraternal relations.

The meeting took place between Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, and UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, as reported by APP.

During the discussion, both sides reviewed the state of bilateral trade and economic collaboration and explored new opportunities for partnership across key sectors.

Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan invited the UAE business community to explore new avenues of cooperation with Pakistani enterprises and extended a special invitation to UAE companies and investors to participate in the 3rd International Food and Agriculture Exhibition (FoodAg 2025), a flagship event of Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce scheduled from November 25–27.

The Trade and Investment Counselor from the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai was also present during the meeting.
