Pakistan Refinery Limited resumes operations

September 02, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan Refinery Limited (PSX: PRL) has officially restarted its refinery operations today.
This marked the end of a regeneration shutdown that began on August 15, 2025.
The company informed the resumption through an official communication to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), with Company Secretary Shehrzad Aminullah confirming that full operations have commenced as of September 2, 2025.
The planned maintenance shutdown was part of PRL's routine operational maintenance cycle, designed to optimize refinery performance and ensure equipment reliability.
Such regeneration shutdowns are critical for maintaining operational efficiency and extending the lifespan of refinery infrastructure.
PRL's return to full capacity is expected to positively impact the local energy supply chain and strengthen the company's production output for the remainder of 2025.
