September 14, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding business-to-business cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

The commitment was made at the Pakistan-China B2B Conference held on the sidelines of the China International Fair for Trade in Services in Beijing.

Addressing the conference, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi stressed the need to create practical opportunities for companies from both countries to establish partnerships.

The conference brought together businesses to identify areas of mutual commercial interest and explore cooperation in emerging technology-driven sectors.

Artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure have emerged as potential areas for deeper Pakistan-China commercial cooperation as Pakistan seeks to accelerate digital transformation and attract technology investment.

The latest engagement provides a platform for private-sector companies to explore partnerships beyond traditional trade and infrastructure cooperation.
